HEPA Filtration for Hospital ConstructionHEPA Air Filtration For Hospitals and Construction

Air purification is of critical importance in hospitals, isolation rooms and other medical settings. We carry state-of-the-art equipment featuring true medical-grade HEPA filters and UVC germicidal radiation lamps for the highest level of decontamination. Our portable negative pressure systems are an ideal solution for absolute contamination control in construction zones.

In hospitals, where high concentrations of microbial contaminants — bacteria, viruses, fungus, mold spores — can place patients, with compromised immune systems (due to illness, trauma or surgery) at heightened risk for life-threatening infections, air filtration and isolation is critical to health and safety. Our comprehensive line of air purification equipment is engineered to meet the specific demands of hospitals and isolation rooms.

With airflow capacities up to 2000 CFM, we have portable negative pressure products for construction, renovation, demolition and maintenance,  isolation rooms, permanent in-ceiling filtration systems, safety enclosures and HEPA filter vacuum cleaners for contamination control. Our experts will advise you about the industry's most powerful and effective air purification equipment, and provide you with the system that best meets your decontamination requirements  — for hospitals, medical construction zones, operating rooms, isolation rooms, laboratories, clean rooms, clinics, outpatient centers, dental offices, and more.

Portable Hospital Air Purification Equipment - Isolation Rooms

Portable Air Purification Equipment - No ductwork or installation required, these HEPA filter units are engineered to handle the rigorous demands of micro-decontamination operations where reliable, high-volume filtration is required.

Negative Pressure Filtration Units for Isolation Rooms

Isolation Room Negative Air Pressure Systems - These portable negative pressure units are available with optional HEPA filter, UVC germicidal radiation lamps and louvers and collars for in-room use or above-ceiling installation — isolation rooms.

In-Ceiling Medical Air Purifiers

In-Ceiling Units - Compact low-profile systems in a variety of configurations for quiet, permanent air purification. HEPA, UVC and ozone UV options

Medical-grade HEPA Vacuum Cleaners for Construction

HEPA Vacuum Cleaners - Electric vacuums, engineered for decontamination cleanup. With an optional HEPA filter offering 99.97% efficiency at removing dust particles down to .3 microns.

HEPA Filter ULPA, UVGI Safety Enclosures for Contamination Control

UVGI and HEPA Safety Enclosures - Specially designed to protect employee's breathing zone, these products force contaminated air through UVC germicidal radiation lamps and re-circulate filtered air into the room.

Hospital Air Purification

Airborne Virus, Mold Spores, Bacteria in HospitalsAccording to the CDC, more than 90,000 people die each year from hospital-acquired infections. Human-source infectious agents, like Tuberculosis, can become airborne and flow through ventilation systems. Deadly mold spores commonly lie dormant in walls and ceilings, becoming aerosolized when stirred up by construction and maintenance activities. Toxins like Aspergillus  can become lethal when introduced into the respiratory tracts immunosuppressed patients.

Hospital Air Purification Equipment with Negative Pressure

Proper ventilation and air purification, utilizing medical-grade HEPA and ULPA filters, in conjunction with UVC germicidal radiation lamps, have been proven powerful agents for disinfecting dangerous microbes from the air stream, greatly reducing the potential for infection transmission to patients.

Isolation rooms using negative pressure units help prevent cross-contamination -- forcing air flows from adjacent areas into the negative pressure room, and thus preventing the escape of contaminated air. Our portable negative pressure units offer airflows from 300 to 2000 CFM, and are easily adapted for permanent installation in isolation rooms.

In its Guidelines for Environmental Infection Control in Health care Facilities, the Centers for Disease Control recommends the use of portable, industrial-grade HEPA filter units to augment the removal of respirable particles. Our hospital-grade HEPA filtration equipment is capable of capturing airborne contaminants as small as .3 microns (see figure below for relative pathogen sizes).

Dust Control and air purifiers for hospital construction zonesUVC germicidal radiation has proven extremely effective, in conjunction with filtration, at neutralizing deadly microbes. Specially coated lamps emit germicidal UV light, known to disinfect pathogens contained in microscopic airborne droplets and dust.

In a study conducted at the NatroMed medical facility in Vancouver, Canada, air sampling before and after installation of an air purification system indicated airborne mold within the medical facility to be 10 to 1000 times lower after installation of an UVGI purifying unit.
